The Career Transition Strategies module of the FBN program provides education and direction for employees who are retiring, moving to a new job or have been laid off and need assistance concerning their retirement plan distribution options, insurance benefits, and available government programs. Individual consultations with a licensed financial advisor are available.

The CTS module is designed to reward loyal employees who have contributed to the organization’s success. At the time of an employee departure or retirement, proper preparation can afford a smooth transition process to include an analysis of COBRA regulations, and the portability of other insurance plans, including dental, life and disability.
For retirees, a review of Social Security, Medicare and other government programs is offered to help clarify benefits and eligibility requirements.
Particular emphasis is placed on helping departing employees understand the complex IRS rules pertaining to distributions from retirement plan accounts,including the IRA Rollover.
